How it works
How we help after a no
Six steps, at your pace. Gentle on your credit file and honest about your chances.
- 1
1. Tell us what happened (about 60 seconds)
The amount, what it's for, your state, what you own and who declined you. No credit check when you first enquire.
- 2
2. A real person reads your story
Someone who works with declined and complicated files every day reviews it. No automated scoring decides your fate at this stage.
- 3
3. We call to fill the gaps
We ask about the decline, your credit and tax position, and how the loan would be repaid. Then we tell you honestly what's realistic.
- 4
4. One matched approach, with your say-so
If a route fits, we approach the lender that suits you. We don't send your file to a line of lenders and wait to see who answers.
- 5
5. Documents, then approval
Only once you choose to go ahead. You'll know exactly what's needed and the full cost in dollars before you sign.
- 6
6. Funding, and a plan for what's next
Funds go to your account or straight to whoever needs paying, such as the ATO. Where the loan is short term, we talk about the exit from day one.
Why we do it this way
When you've just been declined, the instinct is to apply everywhere. We understand it, and we'd ask you not to. Every application leaves an enquiry on your credit file, and a cluster of them can turn a fixable situation into a hard one. A careful match, made once, protects your options.

Common questions
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check is only discussed once you've decided to go ahead with a specific lender.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. After a decline, more enquiries make things worse. We match your situation to one suitable lender and only approach them with your agreement.
What if you can't help?
We'll say so, explain why, and tell you what would need to change. Often it's one or two fixable things, such as overdue lodgements or an unchecked credit report.
How long does it take?
It depends on the route. Unsecured options for smaller amounts can move quickly once statements are in. Property-secured loans depend on the security and the documents, and we'll give you a realistic timeline on the first call.
